Essential Job Function

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the process of admissions for new students to the school.
  • Presenting the school to prospective students and parents, which may include systematic and efficient handling of applications and communication with candidates and their parents; conducting tours; interviews with candidates and their parents; arrangements for admissions testing; securing of necessary student credentials, and communicating final decisions to the appropriate individuals.
  • Overseeing the admission office, the creation of the admissions budget, and appropriate admissions and marketing materials, mailings and publications.
  • Evaluating continually and redesigning (where appropriate) all aspects of the admissions and marketing program with the goal of maintaining a capacity enrollment of qualified students and a wait-list of qualified applicants.
  • Managing the re-enrollment of current students for the succeeding year.
  • Overseeing as needed the network of parents, former parents and alumni to assist in the admissions program.
  • Keeping relevant statistics on all aspects of the admission and re-enrollment program.
  • Representing the school at various gatherings and conferences.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Head of School or Director of admissions.
  • Supporting the school and its leadership.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Must be a committed follower of Jesus Christ.
  • A successful history in private school admissions, sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • The successful candidate will be overtly friendly, personable, and able to quickly establish interpersonal connections.
  • Must possess a passion for Christian education and private schools.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be highly collaborative and professional.

RLCA teachers are responsible for helping students learn the attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians. Teachers design and oversee classroom instruction to meet the requirements of school standards. They use a variety of activities and structures to differentiate instruction and foster student development. In addition, RLCA encourages a growing Christian walk, a genuine love for students, and a positive, can-do, team-oriented attitude. Teachers must maintain a lifestyle consistent with the mission of the church and academy as they are acting as Christian role models for students.

Applicants who are called for a second interview will be required to spend a half day in the grade level they are applying for, and will be observed teaching both a whole group and small group lesson.

RLCA is seeking a multi-disciplinary middle school bible teacher to begin immediately.

This part-time 10-month position reports to the Director of Student Services. The hours for this position will be 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday and 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Front Reception Desk Operations

  • Monitors student reception desk and responds to inquiries.
  • Monitors and records afternoon student attendance.
  • Correspond with parents as needed.
  • Serves as a central point of information pertaining to the school calendar.
  • Lead support for communication through the main reception desk.
  • Supports the leadership of the school.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience
